From what i heard it was a close game because they kept the ball out of Garry's hand as much as possible,guess thats a good game plan for other teams to pick up on.Regardless on how much the win was by, a win is a win so congrats to Silverthorn and congrats to Garry again with another fine performance.Game winning 3 at the end? absolutley ridiculous.

Like 'basketball_west' said a win is a win. But then again it also depends on who you beat and by how much points. Beating Etobicoke C.I. (a team that is suposed to be one of the weaker teams) by 1 point isn't very impressive. And by the way scoring 23 points on a team is pretty much going to work, so the ECI team obviously didn't do that good of a job keeping the ball out of Garry's hands. Anyways, they play Richview on Monday and have a chance to prove themself as a werthy contender in the West Division.

Well they tried to keep the ball out of his hands.Not a simple task to do.
Im very excited to hear the outcome of the game on monday, i want to hear some more prodictions,game plans and key factors to the game.
Can Richview hold Garry, can the silverthorn squad hold all of Richviews dominate players?

LOL, Is Garry the only "GREAT" (not just good/decent/average) player on the Silverthorn team? How many other good / decent players do they have?

Can Garry dunk? If yes what kind: 360, 2hand, 1hand, Windmill...etc

Silverthorn has a few good players. They have Jovan a pretty good point guard who gets Garry all of his points.Not sure of any other players on the team.And Garry can grap rim but he is not slamming just yet.

How deep is his range, could he make a 3pointer consistantly or what that game winning shot vs Etobicoke (which Silverthorn should of slapped) a shot he wouldn't normally take. And since I now know that Garry is NOT a Center does Silverthorn have a dominant big man?

Lakeshore is no longer one of the top teams in the West after losing to George Harvey tonight by 8 points. A lot of people thought greatly of them, but after losing by 8 to a team that Richview easily beat by 45, I think I have lost hope in them. Mabye it was just a bad game for Lakeshore or a good game for Harvey.

Anybody have a new top 2 teams for the West ?

and those 2 picks by basketball west are pretty legitament picks after the first couple games and what the teams can do. im surprised that weston isnt that GREAT of a team.i knew thed be worse then last year, but never thought losing ther big man would make them this much worser(if thats a word)

im not to sure where weston is at right now, maybe they can be ahead of MCI but there not showing anything fantastic yet so far this season.

but, Joking MCI is showing a lot this season so I think they should stay #1 for now until they face Weston
and TCI on Monday

its true, mci has been showing a lot for the first game blowing out 2 teams that every1 thought mci was gann lose to.
well see on monday vs TCI, its ganna be a good game.
also the thing is. mci lpays 4 home games before the break and when they come back they play 4 away games, and the MCI crowd is one of the best this year. i think it is a huge advantage for MCI. well see how they play after the break also

Kci iz doing it big dis year...dey got an amazing starting line up...Center:mykal bailey ..Shooting gaurd moises and hes in grade 9 and iz sick..and pg is Markean tredwell ,really amazing dropped 28 points in preseason but didnt play first 2 games..but kci still slapped nacci up and beat scarlet today..so teams in da west shouldnt under estimate kci dis year ..dey will do damage !

Ya, they're crowd is a huge factor.. they were chanting on pretty much every play for MCI. But, for their 4 away games, it'll be a struggle for them to win because of no crowd in their first away game

im sure vs WHCI, mci will pull off with a W, but we have to see how good TCI is on monday to see hoe we will do without sukh
