    Thornlea Thunder "Spirit Week"- Pre-Season Invitational (October 18-20)

    Pool A
    Bill Crothers S.S.
    Phase 1 (White)
    Alma 2 (Montreal)

    Pool B
    REDA (Waterloo)
    St. John's (Kingston)
    Alma 3 (Montreal)

    Pool C
    Thornlea S.S.
    PHASE 1 (Red)
    Athlete Institute (Orangeville)

    Pool D
    Alma 1 (Montreal)
    London
    REDA (Brampton)

    There will be 3 teams in each of the 4 pools. All games will be using FIBA rules. Each game will be two 20 minute halves with a 24-second shot clock. Come out and enjoy some fun and exciting basketball! The full tournament schedule will be posted soon.

    Spectators
    - All Thornlea Students can watch and enjoy for FREE
    - All Elementary Students can watch and enjoy for FREE
    - All other High School Students must register and show ID $5 per day
    - All Adults must register and show ID $7 per day
    - The school has the right to refuse entry to anyone not following the rules and policies of the
    school
    - We will close the gym to spectators when we have reached fire code capacity.
    - We have a no gum, no candy, no food, no drink policy in the gym at the school. Please respect this. Thank you.

    IS THIS NOT WEIRD?

    Does Thornlea collect entry fees for this tournament? Only to turn around and give it to Wayne Dawkins and NPSAA?

    It costs $3000 to participate in the NPSAA, no idea what you get with that though, cause they don't have a regular season. They only play tournaments during the year and still have to pay an entry fee. You get to participate in the NPSAA championship at the end of the year, but again, any team willing to pay can participate in that tournament.

    Why didn't you invite Henry Carr?
