Next Jr. Super Sixteen - Tues Dec. 11

The next Jr. Coaches Poll will be published on Tuesday Dec. 11 at 6:00 p.m.

Our goal will be to publish a poll every second week during the season. Hopefully the teacher situation will not interfere too greatly with this plan and a poll will remain feasible.

Before the next poll a decision will be made as to whether or not Fr. Henry Carr will be considered a Junior team for purposes of the poll.

The town hall address is going on as we speak and from what I have heard and been told, it doesn't look good for the public schools.
My vote is for Henry Carr to be included in the coaches poll.

I also vote to include them. 10 of the 13 coaches included them last time so unless there has been a change of heart among many of them, it seems that the consensus is already to include Carr.

As mentioned by Silverthorn coach, I will still include public schools in the next poll and I hope other coaches do the same. Obviously, if the situation continues, we can re-evaluate on a (bi)week by (bi)week basis.

I have had to put back the Poll by one day. I hope to publish it tomorrow.

We are considering changes to the format for the Junior Super Sixteen.

A new Super Sixteen will be published today.

I have sent out a Super Sixteen to my coaching contacts in the GTA. I have asked them to share their opinions on the ranking I sent out I will then try to incorporate their thoughts and opinions into the ranking.

Rather than the point system I used previously I will be getting a consensus of opinion from the coaches who participate.

I have had input from thirteen coaches so far.

The new system may be workable!

I certainly hope so and I sincerely thank those coaches who have helped!

There are many dedicated people out there and everyone needs to realize that they will be there for the kids no matter the circumstances.
