Father Goetz Gators are making a heck of a statement going into the new year with a 4-0 league record and out scoring their opponents by 84 points 263 to 179. They look and are probably the favorite in the Southeast and seem to be climbing the ladder and they will be put the to the real test againt Xavier playing them in two games and the first right after the break Tue. Jan. 13, 2009 fx @ fgtz 05 : 00 PM and the other Fri. Feb. 20, 2009 fgtz @ fx 03 : 30 PM. They are playing hard and have a good well rounded team. They will probably get far and probably could be in the finals with just Loyola in their way. Who knows let us see.

The original poster is making a legitimate claim. The Goetz junior team is better than the last two years and I think that they have the best chance of knocking off Xavier in the division. The tigers are still the favourites but it will be wo close games.
