Wow why is Central Peel ranked here? The 2 tournaments they won recently had weak competition.

Why are you hating on Central Peel? Is it because they came back from 20 down and beat you guys at Lincoln Alexander?

I'm not hating, I'm just saying. Whether you beat them or not is irrelevant because they beat Central Peel once this year already so they're even.

After today ND will clearly show why they are the third best... possibly the second best team in Peel.....

Also, Tier two teams don't deserve to be ranked......

But some Tier 1 teams have been beaten by Tier 2 teams. For example, Louise Arbour beating David Suzuki, by a large amount too.

According to results over the last week....
    Mt Carmel beats campion
    St Marcy beats mt Carmel
    Ascension beats bcss
    Notre dame beats ascension

BUT I'VE SEEN MOST THESE TEAMS....
dyouville, Notre dame, campion, bcss and Goetz can all beat each other. Mt Carmel, Loyola, ascension, st Marcy can compete but are far below. Not sure who. Is AAAA and other levels. That will determine a lot for playoffs.

How about that St Joesph school? I heard they had beaten Turner Fenton, Mississauga Secondary, St Martins and they matched up well against a strong teir 2 team in Heartlake, despite having a off game. Is this true how are they doing in Peel?

Lmfao st joes is so under sized and has no skill either. These top 10 peel tier 1 teams would smash joes by 20 each

Now that we are back to reality and finally seeing all the best teams in Peel, after the Sheridan Cup and Call of the Wild tourney, where do we rank these teams.

We ranked Father Goetz high with one quality win after beating Henry Carr and playing D'Youville until final seconds, but apart from that no quality wins. Campion had many impressive wins but we they are ranked 8th in Peel. If you saw the rimrocker you would know that the campion coach bench his players for team issues against martingrove and mount Carmel, does that make them be ranked so low in Peel. Look at their body of work. D'Youville is a great program and deserve the number 1 spot, based on their body of work, but now do you drop them below Campion and move Campion up 8 spots to number 1 after beating Ascension, Brampton Centennial, Xavier and d'Youville.

Miss the days when Fletcher's was in the conversation. Now we need to put St. Marcellinus in the mix but do we move them up past Goetz. The already beat Brampton Centennial.

Tart11 I trust your Peel rankings because you see a lot of Peel teams, so please give us another one.

Overall in PEEL with recent results:

    1) Campion -AAAA
    2) Dyouville-AAAA
    3) St Marcellinus-AAAA
    4) Notre Dame-AAAA
    5) Father Goetz-AAAA
    6) Ascension-AA
    7) Brampton Centennial-AAAA
    Cool Fletcher's Meadow-AAAA
    9) Joan of Arc-AAA
    10) Mt Carmel-AAAA
    11) Xavier-AAAA
    12) ST ROCH-AAA
    13) LOYOLA-AAA
    14) Ste Famille-AA
    15) ST AUGUSTINE-AAA
    16) CENTRAL PEEL.-tier II
    17) HEART LAKE-tier II
    18) LOUISE ARBOUR-tier II

ONLY AAAA teams qualify for play-offs:
Out of the 18 teams listed above I've seen 16 of them play. I've followed the results.

Dyouville, Campion, Goetz, Brampton Centennial, St Marcellinus, Notre Dame can beat each other. Dyouville and Campion are the top 2 teams based on level of competition they have had.

Stephen Lewis will make play-offs assuming they are AAAA. Top AAAA team in the division makes play-offs.

Meaning that one of Mt Carmel or Xavier would not make play-offs. If I am correct.

Has Brampton Centennial declared playing in the AAAA or AAA playoffs?

In another earlier forum topic Xavier Rimrocker said they are a AAA population school.

We are AAAA. OFSAA Declaration is depending on the previous years population numbers. We had 1256 kids last year, cut off was 1250. We could of appealed, but failed to do so by deadline.

    We are AAA next year.

This is pretty accurate. I think Central Peel is probably stronger than 16th, but by declaring both Tier II and AAA, it is essentially impossible for them to qualify for any level of OFSAA, so they are a bit of an irrelevancy. St. Augustine is higher also I think, they lost last week to Joan of Arc in exhibition, they had a chance to send the game to overtime but missed a buzzer beater. Also they won one and lost one versus St. Famille, in the loss primarily bench players were used.

I do not rate Xavier that highly, I think they would have finished 3rd in their division had Pocock not dissolved. St. Roch is stronger, might put them higher. I would move Loyola down after a recent 30 point loss to Joan of Arc.

Watched Lincoln Alexander beat Central Peel 75-51 last night. As a spectator there to watch the following Junior game it was really obvious that Lincoln Alexander was in another league compared to Central Peel. They completely shut down Central Peel's point guard #5. Impressed.
