On behalf of ND Invitational tournament co-conveners Bryan McWilliams and Dave Partlow I would like to thank all the players and coaches that took part in our tournament. There were many outstanding performances, fantastic finishes, and exciting moments. Three games went into overtime and our consolation and championship finals were extremely hard fought battles.
We would also like to recognize the efforts of our student volunteers who made this tournament possible. Our Student Athletic Association did a great job of running the scorer's table in all 20 games and our front door and concession crew worked tirelessly throughout the weekend. These dedicated students provide the necessary behind the scenes work that make our athletic programs (and in this case our basketball tournament) successful and rarely get the credit that they are due.
We extend our best wishes to all of the teams for a successful post season and we look forward to crossing paths in the future.
