Sadly West Hill and Oakwood will play in the 1st round

West Hill came off a SHOCKING(dont know if i should use that word after the 2nd loss) Loss against Laurier for the 2009 Toronto East Title.......BUT.....Oakwood is also coming off a SHOCKING loss to Central Commerce in the semi's of the 2009 Toronto South playoffs

ALSO, DONT FORGET West Hill is the only GTA team to defeat Eastern Commerce this year
and Oakwood lost to Eastern 2X by less then 6

its quite unfair and almost a shame to see that west hill and oakwood will have to play each other so early in this qualifier tournament, becuase while these two top level teams have to eliminate one another a team like newtonbrook and earl haig will be facing eachother on the other side to get to the finals... dont get me wrong i am a fan of newtonbrook and what they have done this year and from what i think it looks like its going to be newtonbrook in the finals against eastern... but it would have been nice to see the top teams playing eachother in the finals

It is definently a shame to see two Top10 teams in Ontario playing first round in the cities. This is truely a spot in Windsor, not taking anything away from Newtonbrook, Weston or Earl Haig.

i think martingrove and vaugahn road should have went 4A, they would have better represented the west.

I think the semi-Finals is West1/North2 vs. North1/West2
and East1/South2 vs. South1/East2.
Not how you have it lissted on top.

Weston is not reprenting the west in 4A.
Silverthorn was supposed to face weston for top spot, but they dropped out so Silverthorn was awarded the number 1 seed and ECI replaced Weston.

Why does it say Julian Clarke had 22, i saw him on tv sayin he had 20 at half and saw the second half in which he scored 7.
Adrian Tomlinson is a beast, he certainly didn't disappoint. Oakwood is supposedly in the top 5 defensive teams in the province, so to do that...wow.
On the flipside, Eastern and West Hill played last year in the semis, so I'm assuming this year is a little different and won't be surprised if they meet in a jam-packed, intense final.

eastern won. great game, two very great teams.

it was a low scoring game. i think adrian had 19 or so. and eastern had a very balanced scoring game. i think almost all starters were in double figures
