I dont know about that. Ive seen some upsets in the last couple years. D'Youville is the clear favourite but anything can happen. If DY does get there the game ( they should, unless they choke) wont be a blowout. Ropssaa finals are never a blowout, atleast in the last 7 years or so.
Carmel over Ascension last year quarters
Xavier over Loyola two years ago in the quarters
Ascension over Goetz three years ago in the semis
Loyola over Dyouville 3 years ago in the semis

Re: Ropssaa Tier 1?
Goetz will have a good shot at upsetting Campion. I heard Byron Trench was disciplined and is no longer with the team.
Anybody can confirm if this is true?

Re: Ropssaa Tier 1?
Reallie Byron? Can anyone confirm tht? Cause from what i heard he is a key person on the team...but Allan Anderson from Goetz is still battling a foot/ankle injury which he has from the pre season and which he triggered again at the Sheridan Cup, but he will probably play as he has been resting it and even sat out the Pocock playoff game. The full strength of him i reallie dont know though, but TUbbs reallie steps in as a leader when Allan is off he reallie carries the weight.

Re: Ropssaa Tier 1?
Wow, if Byron is out, that could serve a huge blow to Campion.
Jordan will need to step up big time.
And if Allan can play full strength, Goetz has a solid chance!

Re: Ropssaa Tier 1?
I doubt Byron will be sitting this one out. Coaches usually give in and make exception when it's time to win. Expect to see him on the floor. Campion is not a one man show. They are still a strong team without him. There is a reason why they are one of the better teams in the gta.
That being said, if Trench is out, the door does open a little more for Goetz. They will bring the fight regardless of who they are playing. They may be missing their point guard Anderson due to injury. Knowing Anderson, he will play and play well even on one leg.
I must agree, Tubbs is making a huge difference since coming back from the injury which caused him to miss almost the entire season. 25+ pts 16+ boards in each of the last 3 games. Season would have been different if he was playing.
However, the same way Trench being out may open the door a little, Anderson being out closes it as well. This should be an exciting game.
I think Xavier and Carmel will be a close one. Teams are pretty equal.
Mississauga and Dyouville is a different story. Miss has a dynamic point gaurd in J Jones and a high flyer in Terrel B. Dyville is a much superior team. but, anything can happen.
Loyola should take out Ascension. But they have been playing better as the season played out. Loyola is out to prove a point. Tamoy and Greg Osawe has been playing really well. They will come out fast from jump.
Good luck to all teams!
