Coach Miles

Our junior boys lost a close game to Bramalea this past week at the Turner Fenton tournament final. They have an excellent team with two really good coaches. Their guards were fast and athletic and gave our guards fits all night. I am glad that Bramalea is in our Pre-Playoff Showdown tournament as they will not compete in Tier 1 this year for us to get another crack at them. They will definitely be one of the top/strongest Tier 2 teams in Peel this year. Congrats to Bramalea for winning the Turner Fenton Tournament.

We are exploring the idea of expanding our tourney to a 9 or 10 team draw with still a guarantee of 3 games in one day but two gym locations. This would still be on the same confirmed date.

St. Edmund Campion is pleased to announce the 12 teams participating in the 1st Annual Campion Junior Boys Basketball Pre-Playoff Showdown.

This 12 team draw will still be a guarantee of 3 full length games in one day but at two gym locations (St. Edmund Campion and Cardinal Leger) with a of fourth game for two teams in the the Championship Final, held at 8pm @ Campion. This would still be on the same confirmed date of Saturday, February 13, 2010.

is there any form of a schedule out yet?

There is a tentative schedule given only to the coaches who's teams are participating in our tournament. There will be no schedule posted until 1-2 weeks before tourney time, as it gives teams flexibility to make changes (ie. time changes, team drop-outs and/or team replacements).

First post, has been updated. Please note: St. Joan of Arc has been added to our tournament.

Spectators?

Yes, spectators are allowed but St. Edmund Campion and Cardinal Leger reserves the right to refuse anyone admission and remove anyone for behaviour detrimental to the integrity of the schools and the tournament.

The cost of admission is $2 for everyone 12 years old and up.

Notre Dame (Brampton) has been replaced by St. Joan of Arc (Mississauga).
