25 Points Club Underway....

Micqueel Martin (Downsview) becomes the first member of HooptownGTA's 25 Points Club for the 2009-2010 season. Micqueel scored 32 points as Downsview defeated Martingrove 70-46 at the Bob Maydo Classic.

HooptownGTA will accept emails from coaches, team managers, and parents.
Please include; points scored, final score, type of game (league, exhibition, tournament), and date of the game.

If there is a discrepancy between the "official score sheet" and stats taken by a team manager, HooptownGTA will have to take the amount of points scored on the "official" score sheet.

Looks like Micqueel Martin will make Downsview a competitive team on his own this year.

How is Micqueel still in Canada?

Couldn't Grassroots "help" this young man to the next stage, like they've done with so many others.

I would like to add that if there is a discrepancy between the "official score sheet" and stats taken by a team manager, HooptownGTA will have to take the amount of points scored on the "official" score sheet.

I do not think that decision is Grassroots that is between Micqueel n his Family...

I want to know how is he not representing the Country or Province ...

I agree also grassroots is to help a player get exposure. Once a player gets the exposure and gets the letters it is then up to the player and family as said by grave to decide.

actually downsview is a good team they have some good players. Their center is very good and they have the top grade 9 in ontario, michael roye.

Im not sure if he's the best player in Ontario, but i heard he's pretty good.

Doesn't the district send in the scoresheet and thats how you get who scored over 25 points

Not everyone that scores 25+ gets on hooptown, this guy Joshua Jerimiah in Grade 9 scored 37 on gonzaga in a tournement and 39 on iona catholic lauge game, but never was posted.

His coach needs to email Hooptown.
