Pine Ridge S.S. in Pickering will be hosting the David Preston Memorial Senior boys basketball tournament on Thursday December 3rd and Friday December 4th, 2009.

Do u rele think if vaughn road or st mikes wins they'll bang with Pine Ridge... come on now. And they have to go through Jclarke dont get too ahead of urself lol. They'll have to wrk to get to the finals.

We saw Metro Prep at a tournament in St. Catharine's and they looked very good, beating a strong host squad in their gym and giving ACMT a run for their money in the semi-finals.

J Clarke vs Pine Ridge in the finals with J Clarke winning. St. Mikes also has a good shot but they have a tough draw.

Whoever comes out of the other side has a tough draw. J Clarke has to go through St. Mikes or Vaughn Road. The Winner of Vaughn Road and St. MIkes has J Clarke Richardson. Don't count out Vaughn Road at all!!! They play some of their best ball at this tournament every year...for the past two years...beat Pine Ridge last year in the semis and the year before they almost knocked off Eastern Commerce in the semis losing by 6.

Pine Ridge has beaten both J Clarke and St. Mikes this year so a rematch against either one of those teams would be interesting.

I see a J.Clarke vs Pine Ridge Final....I'm not going to call a winner of the game though, i think it's just going to be a battle.

Didn't pine ridge already beat j Clarke? Then why is there so much confusion between the 2? I'm not even 100% sure that j Clarke will even beat St mikes. It would make more sense to compare the 2 teams that already lost to pine ridge. I haven't seen Vaughn road play yet but they did beat Pine Ridge last year so pine ridge is probably amped to face them more then re beat the 2 they already faced. Plus pine ridge beat j Clarke without their full roster and I'm sure everyone should be back by now so I don't no what all the hype is between them. So in my eyes it looks like PR is taking home the ship this year.

Metro Prep is a pretty good team. They are a small private school in Toronto that is kind of new on the high school scene. Metro Prep has some size in particular a 6ft-8, 210 center that is in the tenth grade and two 6ft-3, athletic wing players as well. It should be an interesting game between them and Pine Ridge tomorrow.
