george harvey is playing very well to start the season, i think there a definitely chance to win the west region, with blowout victories like these

We are gelling every game. There is still a lot to learn. We are working on it.

Yea their playing very well, I think it's between George Harvey and Martingrove. They'll probably face in the playoffs and if Harvey can lock down Mathew Wright then they're looking good

looks like Vaughan road came out strong in the first game dont really know who they have this year but they always surprise teams

harvey is overrated, dont get gassed cuz you guys blew out a garbage eci team and your fidel benjamin only plays well against bad teams that have no size...if tj was playing on richview u guys would have gotten dealt with...when you guys win against a top team you guys can say your team is nice but right now you guys are only looking good in a weak west division

Did we say we are the best? Did we? Learn to read and then attack a team. Otherwise, keep your mouth shut and hands off the keyboard. We blew out two weak teams and we know that. We are not getting over our heads for beating Richview and ECI. We respect the weak teams and have enough respect for the top level teams.

"Fidel plays well against bad teams?" Wow, I wont even comment on that. "With TJ Richview will beat us?" Sure, they should prove it on the court next time they play us. Hopefully, TJ will be eligible by then. And we beat Richview and Nikoy didnt even play that game due to illness.

Again, we dont think we are the better than everyone and we are not gassed cause we blew out two weak teams. Anyways, Harvey is still gellin and learning with every game/practice.

your team is weak ive seen you guys play, and if fidel is really an elite player he will have big games against good teams
also i forgot to mention your guards are waaaack, scott dropped 35, they havent been doing enough defensive slides...if you guys are nice you guys will beat my martingrove team...i gaurantee fidel wont have a good game and our guards will make yours look like houseleague players

if any team this year is overrated. its MARTINGROVE! pshh tryna diss another team? martingrove was coming into this year with all the hype and talk.. and yet there losing games they shouldnt be. other than m.wright. ur team has no 1 so get off the net

1. Taj well said .. George Harvey is a good squad they have been getting better every year.. Fidel Benjamin is one of the most elite big men in the GTA this year .. He will soon be just as big as a threat as big men like Anthony and Ancil..

2. Crusheddreams101 stop hating on George Harvey man.. I support Martingrove aswell but you cant say GH is a bad squad they are a team fighting for a spot in the top 16 and you cant call them bad if they are competeting for a top 16 spot in the city..

3. tilt_basketball Martingrove wasn't overrated at all.. everything that was said about them was expected but because of the loss of Justin Bakuteka it had made things difficult for the squad .. and there loses have come to #6 Campion,#7Vaughn,#10 J Clarke and #11 Laurier... but now with Justin Bakuteka back they have not lost a game and have just beat a strong Cathedral team IN Cathedral out of all places which is a HUGE win to beat a team like Cathedral in there gym... Today we will see the real match up against Father Henry Carr.. not saying Martingrove is going to win .. I have them to lose this one to.. but if these teams meet later on in the year I have Martingrove beating them.

guys need to know george harvey blowing out those teams is just because they can do it
they have the players and since eci and richview got blown out doesnt meet their weak or anything just george havery can score so dont diss them they are a team this year i think better then last year

thats an L, theyre not better than last year and harvey is still weak in my opinion

at the end of the day it is gonna be anothe martingrove vaughan road final vra has harvey this wednesday then martingrove thursday at the holiday classic

Central Etobicoke HS (14) @ George Harvey CI (62)

VRA has a strong squad. Some very athletic guys. A very interesting game. VRA lead most of 1st quarter but Harvey took the lead. VRA looked to come back but Harvey replied each time. There were lots of unfair call for both teams. (I respect the refs since they have a tough job however some bad call were made). There were Couple of Ts in the forth quarter. Nikoy and Fidel fouled out but the rest of the guys managed to hold on. In the end, Harvey won by 9.

Today, we played Central Etobicoke. Well, all I want to say is that CE should be recognized for their effort. Down by many points yet they kept playing and didnt show their frustration. Most teams down by 20+ would generally show negative emotions. Anyways, Jermaine E. got a dunk and a huge block within 10 seconds span that got the crowd on their feets. In the end it was a 40+ win.

Martingrove was without Justin Bakuteka, and Stevan M. sat out almost half the game due to injury I believe? Also seemed like they were without some bench players.
