After a few games the powerhouses in the west are:
Geroge harvey- Blow by all competition beating richview by 21 as well as beating vra by 9.
Vra- played harvey very tough and have some good players.They've done well is tournaments and after losing key plays they still look strong.
Silverthorn-Blowing by all teams and could be a sleeper. They beat richview by 18 and runnymede by 31. Garry and Dennis have been carrying the offencive loads.
On the other side of the west.
Martingrove- With justing back not only do they look like they are the best in the west but they look like a top team in the city. The clear runner for the west region.
Naci- Solid team and have had an average start, should compete with west humber for 2nd.
West humber- Got off to a slow start but have picked things up just a bit.
Players to look out for in the west:
Scott Morrison- Even on a weak squad he puts up POINTS. He had 50 today against runnymede and 35 against harvey. VERY good player.
Matthew wright- Top player in the city. Offencive game is deadly and can score in a variety of differnt ways. A vet in highschool basketball.
Justin B.- regardless if he is 100%. A very solid well rounded player. Clearly a huge part in martingroves recent sucess.
Fidel Benjamin- The best big in the west. Very talented player with so much untaped potential. Looks if he had just a bit more effort he can be an outstanding player.
Nikoy- An outstanding defender with a solid offensive game. The leader of the very strong george harvey team.
Garry Dunlop- A very gifted guard who has led silverthorn to a suprising start beating richview and runnymede by large margins. Very good scorer but has been distributing the ball very well racking up assists.
Dennis Ankrah- Scored 26 against richview and is a force in the key sending weak shots in the paint away. Tall athletic and a player with potential.
Just my opinions. Let me know yours.

well...
i agree with MATHEWS offensive game but defensively i think he can improve, JUSTIN is a great player tottaly agree wih wat you said....MARTINGROVE is an elite team and proved to be a top team in the city
FIDEL is a monster and its scary to think that theres so much more he could be doing
...i personally think hes da best big man in the city right now, or atlest in the west...great game against VRA they really held their own out there and have proved to be one of the west ends top teams...and like you said NIKOY is an excellent leader with an elite defensive game looking forward to seeing this team battle it out against other top teams...
not familiar with names and stuff but number 21 on SCARLETT has sum nifty ball handling skills...
WEST HUMBER is a good team and i agree there starting to pick things up # 14 can see the court real well and can break down and dominate a press...
NACI i think is off to a slow start...with players in academic trouble and starters sitting on the bench...that being said they've been able to hold up n give teams a run for thier money...VERY good defensive team when they wanna be, TEVON DOCKERY is a well rounded defender and can really throw off a players game.
TCI - has a tall big man who racks up a whole heap of blocks...and thier guard GULED can trouble a team if not gaurded properly

yea eci is weak...

will see if eci is a legit contender when they face lakeshore, or runnymede. If they cant beat any of these teams then we know for sure there a weak team. Im not saying these teams are good but they'll give them atleast a decent game to see where they stand in the west region even tho they are already 0-3.
