    Now that the high school season is officially over, I just wanted to get people's opinions on who they think was the best player in the GTA this past season. If Hooptown GTA handed out a Mr. Basketball Award who would win it this year.

    gotta say julian clarke after that ofsaa performance but if if our just talking about the best player I gotta say anthony ottley jr for single handedly carrying his sub par emery team

    He's Gr. 12 but I believe he is graduating.

    He is an excellent student. He was considering some Ivy league schools but I understand has opted for Santa Clara.

    Jason Wells!!!!! Never heard of him...what has he done this year that would make you think that he's the best player is the GTA? What his stats? Did he win any MVP awards or tournament allstar selections this year at tournaments. Does Woodlands play tier 1 or tier 2 in Peel?

    I dont possibly see how that nickname could even mean anything good. Does it mean he travels everytime he gets the ball? lol! I have never heard of this guy (or even woodlands for that matter)

    Aaron Redpath is more than a shooter! He shoots the ball well from deep but he does many other things too. He's definitely one of the leaders of the J Clarke Richardson team and plays both ends of the floor...to say he's only a shooter minimizes his contributions and overall game. I would give Aaron Redpath the nod over Jordan Clennon.

    Aaron is a very talented player. Its too bad that when a player is extremely gifted in one aspect people sometimes overlook the other things he can do!
