Last year, Xavier had a good team but they were young, with three grade 11 starters most games. This year's team will be more experienced.

Carr is a good team but so are others e.g. Pickering, Eastern, MT, Oakwood etc. etc.

Xavier lead St. Theresa by as many as 25 before dialing it back in the fourth quarter to win by 7.

Not sure how many players St. Theresa was missing to football or volleyball but Xavier was missing four key player; at least three of them starters.

These early season exhibition games and tournaments may not provide the best indication of how the season will progress as many teams will be missing players to football and volleyball for as long as another month.
