2010 Central East MDP (U15) Try-Outs

Players, Parents, Coaches;

The MDP Program is a part of Ontario Basketball Elite Development Program. We will selct a team of 12 players (4 Grade 8 players born 1996, and 8 Grade 9 players born 1995) who will train as a team for 8 weeks, leading up to the Ontario Summer Games Championships, August 10-13 in Sudbury.

There is a $25 try-out fee which includes an Ontario Basketball t-shirt and the 2 try-out/training sessions. There will also be a Final try-out which will be invite only. You must attend at least one of these try-outs to be considered for the final try-out or to make the team.

We are accepting all Major Bantam and Midget players from the Central East region to try-out (Toronto, North York, Markham, Aurora, Newmarket, Etobicoke).

(1)Thursday May 20; 5:30pm - 8:00pm
@ Loretto College

(2) Saturday May 22; 2:30pm - 5:00pm
@ Forest Hill C.I.


If you are interested in...
Elite level training and skill development to sharpen your game this summer;
Up to 30 hours of training with the top Major Bantam and Midget players in your region;
The chance to represent your region at the Ontario Summer Games;
Exposure to top coaches and players from throughout the province;
...then come and try-out.

Thanks to everybody who came out to the 1st Tryout on Saturday at Forest Hill. There was alot of talent at both the Grade 8 and Grade 9 level. Very impressive.
Theres still a chance to come out for the team, but you have to at least come to this 2nd tryout to make the Final Team.
I'm still looking for more Forwards.

Wear a numbered or reversible jersey if you have one.
Bring a friend and bring your game.
