D'youville has one of the best programs in peel. This is just justifying that.

D'youville is the only place in brampton offering a ball camp or brampton warriors I guess.... and like half brampton plays ball compared to toronto basically everywhere in toronto is offering camp.i would go to the d'youville camp but for 100 bucks for three days is a pricey if it was one week fro 9-4 ,spots would have filled up when this post first came out .....i'm just saying Smile

Maybe the $100 price tag is to get the players who are serious and not the ones who go to the cheap camps to play the axx and waste coaches time.

gunta you will be suprised of the many camps in the gta just as good as d'y offering cheap camps some free that is longer than the dy's plus the 100 bucks goes to there ball team and plus just becuase camps are cheaper it doesn't mean there wasting the coaches time.

Is there a problem with Dy running a camp and the funds goes to the basketball team,to me that is a smart move by the coaches.

Other than Brampton Warriors and DY who else in Brampton offering camps.
Basketball camps in Toronto are like gas stations every corner have one. That is why the price have to be low due to the competition.Camps are also a form of recruiting players for the next season.

Caledon offers a camp run by a their rep. program each summer in early July. Full week, 9am-3pm. Only a 15 minute drive from DY and north Brampton. But you are right, not many other camps in the area.

There are cheaper places if you are willing to comute to them

but I think it is reasonable... it's actually 4 days (as stated above 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th) therefore $25/day, or ~$8 an hour.

I guess that's what good basketball schools have to do in order to fund their programs

I agree with your comments, but cheap camp is called baby sitting.

Very reasonable ... take a look at what a good hockey camp costs.
