Blues Toronto U-19 JUEL team (a division of Scarborough Basketball) will compete in the inaugural JUEL season 2010-11.
The league will feature 22 teams from across Ontario and will encompass the top female athletes in the sport of basketball.
Teams will play 21 league games and then an elimination tournament for the Championship weekend May 7-9, 2011.
The goal of this league is to feature our high performance athletes in an elite league, so players are challenged and compete at a high level each and every time they step on the court.
This league through it's schedule will provide opportunities for skill development through higher level competition and an overall improvement of the level of play of girls basketball in Ontario.
Toronto Blues are looking for talented, dedicated, committed, hard working ball players to compete for spots on the team in the inaugural season of this elite league of basketball.
Final Tryouts will be held on the following dates:
Saturday September 11 from 12:30 - 2:00
Saturday September 18 from 12:30 - 2:00
Saturday September 25 from 12:30 - 2:00
Location: Loretto College on 151 Rosemount Ave, Toronto, ON
(1 block south of St. Clair Ave off Dufferin St.)
Tryout fee is $ 5.00 payable on site.
All players should be at a minimum of 2 tryouts and bring a reversible jersey to the tryouts.
