2010 Girls Top10

New school year. Whose the Top Ten?

1. Notre Dame Ajax - Everybody returns, very athletic and deep.

2. Pickering -
Always play tough. Strong juniors moving up.

3. Bill Crothers -
Like a Prep school. 2nd year, more new transfers?

4. Thomson -
Good point guard and center. Rest of team?

5. D'Youville -
Best girls graduated, who will step up?

6. Downsview -
Fast, will run and press.

7. Michael Power - Underated team could surprise.

8. Father Goetz -
Returns some talented players.

9. Eastern Commerce -
Athletic team last year, who's back?

10. Campion -
Another dangerous Peel squad.

I would add Pope John Paul and Cardinal Leger into the honorable mention category

- Father Goetz at #8 is too high or too low? I think they still have Josie Ann who is a very good forward/center. So they should be good if they have supporting players.

- Pope lost Shanice Mckoy who did everything for them last year. Their junior championship team is moving up, they won't be as strong but could be good.

Remember this is just a preseason ranking. Teams will fall into place when the games start.

That really doesn't explain why Pope John Paul would not be Top Ten. You just said they have a championship junior team moving up.

Have they not been a Top Ten team for the last five or six years or more?

Coach, Pope not only lost Shanice but also Courtney and Latisha Bell. That's a lot. They will be young and might be a year away from being a Top team again.
I would keep them as a honourable mention for now.

But I hope they prove me wrong and upset some teams with their young squad. I heard they have a nice guard coming up from junior.

The loss of shanice is definitely going to hurt pope she was like their wilt chamberlain, but when you have a championship jr team moving up I find it foolish to count them out.

Well I admit I might have been off on Father Goetz at #8.

But 9 of my Top 10 are right on point with Hooptowns Top 10.
Even on ProLine thats worth something.
