Tier 2 Peel
Theres always talk about the top tier talent all over the gta .. but ppl seem to forget some of the talent in tier 2, and how some of there players can match with the top talent in the gta.
Any predictions? Certain players to watch out for?

Re: Tier 2 Peel
good luck coach!
i remember the last 2 yrs you've bin updating regularly with tier 2 peel, wether it be senior or junior.. what do you think about any other teams/players to lookout for?
i kno the last 2 yrs theres bin some guy they've bin talking about at woodlands who has potential scholarships to the CIS comming for him this year and how he got looks in the states due to his AAU travels throughout the spring and summer .. im not sure too sure on his name though

Re: Tier 2 Peel
woodlands will be a contender in tier 2..they have the big 3 who can really score...
st. joe's is always at the top..but i agree with air china in that they should probably move up to tier 1...they have enough talent to compete...

Re: Tier 2 Peel
do you kno any of there names?
as for st joes, i think if they were to stay they would be the early favourites to win or come very close

Re: Tier 2 Peel
not sure of the names...not sure who's returning actually...never know if guys transfer especially when they are at what are traditionally non basketball schools and they feel they have talent...
they were good in junior two years ago but not championship level...

Re: Tier 2 Peel
yea they were good, just not championship material .. as for the "big 3" there names are mojad, cavel and marco .. this cavel guy transfered to NY, but marco and mojad stayed
i didnt kno, i find it actually suprising this marco guy has looks from florida state, pepperdine, depaul, harvard, columbia and a few CIS schools .. and this mojad guy has tons of talent, he just has attitude problems but hes a great player
i dont kno, from what i hear they could be pretty solid this year

Re: Tier 2 Peel
when you say looks from florida state et al, i do find it hard to believe because getting a look from a division 1 school (and two of those are from big conferences--acc and big east) is not something that happens every day...besides andrew nicholson, who is 6-9, i have yet to play anyone in peel who is a division 1 prospect and barely a division 2 prospect, having coached a couple of them...

Re: Tier 2 Peel
im not 100% sure coach, this is just what ive heard .. i hear fsu had sent a few packages to his house and the school? just because hes gotten looks doesnt mean hes got any scholarship offers, but he must have something for ncaa coaches to look at
at the moment when i talked to ppl from ppl i heard at the school .. comming into this summer harvard/columbia/dartmouth and a few CIS schools are who are interested in him, sending him alot of packages, flyers and keeping in contact at least once a month .. i sure as hell dont think hes got the skills to play at top conferences in D1, but if he can get to the CIS that would be a great accomplishment
now dont bank that this is 100% accurate, people obviously like to boost and talk highly of things like this, this is just word of mouth

Re: Tier 2 Peel
Wednesday:Woodlands Vs Streetville Double Header. (Sr-Jr)
Woodlands Jr Team took a step down from tier one to Two and is heavy contenders for the ship in tier two. Woodlands Sr team might have some talent. Streetville SS as i recall was one of the bottom feeder teams but nothing is the same from year to year. I see woodlands Sr taking by 5-15points and Woodlands jr by 15-30 points.

Re: Tier 2 Peel
in all honesty bro, the JR team is pretty crap, and ive heard that from many ppl who go to that school
BUT, the seniors are the ones who will be battling for the title, with hansen and a few other brampton schools.. should be very interesting!
ill put up the results, or any other info when i get it
