If I looked at this tournament strictly from a fan's perspective, I would hope that a St Mike's-Vaughn final would transpire. Both teams are scoring a lot of points, winning tournaments and showcase some of the best and exciting players in the city. Duane Notice ( St Mike's), Henry Tan (Vaughn) and Andrew Wiggins ( Vaughn) are worth the price of admission. A final with these two teams can only do positive things for GTA basketball.

Correct me if I am wrong anybody.

Hillcrest is from Ottawa. They are probably a top-10 team this year though they didn't make it out of their group in the first tournament which consisted exclusively of Ottawa teams.

St. Pat's is generally considered to be the #1 ranked team in Ottawa right now, followed by Sacred Heart who I believe will be at the Holiday Classic this year.

In Ottawa, there are about 10 teams that all seem to be at about the same level. There really is no consensus #1. Sacred Heart was the preseason favourite but lost to St. Pats in the final of a tournament last weekend. Then St. Pats just lost to St. Matts in their first league game and St. Matts did not make it out of the round robin in there own tournament. Hillcrest is also in with that group of top teams with probably 5 or 6 other teams as well.
