Re: Peel Tier One Season Results
Some of these teams need to be in division 2 but you have to admire their effort.
Unlike teams like Bramalea with good players hiding out in division 2.They are like the bullies beating up on little kids.

Somewhere along the lines something went horribly wrong for FX. This is the same team minus Stefan that was a top 10 junior team 2 years ago.

Re: Peel Tier One Season Results
huge results
The big match up between Ascension and Sandalwood was not to be.
How did Ascension lose by 24 points?
I said on another thread that Sandalwood always underachieves, this is a good start from them.
St Joseph's losing by 40?
d'youville crushes aquinas by 48?
a bunch of teams losing by 21, 16, 15
i guess a lot of the parity has left peel

Re: Peel Tier One Season Results
Outside the Ascension Sandalwood game alot of the divisons tops teams were playing notorious bottom dwellers. These results were expected. Obviously the Swood and Ascension game is a shocker.
Acension just lost to Sandalwood meanig that sandalwood could be possibly compared with dy and fletchers regarding wining ofsaa and thought thier were evenly matched did that returning fifth year player play on acsension (Bikriam)
Whoa Whoa Whoa.. slow down. D'y, Sandalwood, and Fletchers cannot be considered to WIN OFSAA. Im a peel supporter but lets not get carried away.

Re: Peel Tier One Season Results
actually lets not forget that swood played fletchers recently at a tournament and lost by 20+
dy is in a class of their own,
at their own tournament they beat fletcher's by 14.
fletchers beat bcss and swood at the same tournament
swood just beat ascenscion
right there you can see how dy is the team to beat and they are allready the favorites to 3 peat.
don't get confused, the race in peel is for 2nd place and a shot to be a low ranked team at aaaa ofsaa.

yep http://www.mississauga.com/sports/article/909912--basketball-season-opens
Jordan Fray and R.J. Ramirez led the charge with 14 points apiece for the Gators. Maudy Duzdar, with 11 points
while Cordell Reid scored 17 for the Warriors.
Leonard Riley chipped in with 11 points for Loyola while Watson had 10.

Even back then you could see this coming. Lots of talent on that team but very little discipline or desire.

Re: Peel Tier One Season Results
Will this be a return to the early years of the past decade where one team was head and shoulders above everyone else and a bunch of contenders beat each other up for the second OFSAA berth? It's early but it's starting to look that way.
D'Youville is the new Goetz and Fletchers, Sandalwood, BCSS, etc. are the new Ascension, Loyola, Notre Dame, etc.
Interesting to see that the public schools are finally serious contenders in significant numbers once again. Has a Peel public team made it to AAAA OFSAA since the two boards merged into one region?

Do you guys read what you write? I posted some teams need to be in division 2, i was talking about the whole of peel not North Division.
You posted " all these teams in the north divison in brampton are gta top 16 potential teams " Then turn around to say Bramalea should trade place with Aquinas.
News flash Aquinas is in the North.
