Congrats to Loyola on a great season and Halton Region final victory over Holy Trinity in front of a great crowd from what I heard! I wanted to make it out there to check out the action but ended up covering the York Region semis at Brother Andre Catholic H.S.
Mike L'Africain, Rohan Boney and Adam Presutti a tough trio to handle and it seemed the case in the 24 point win for Loyola.
Good luck to Loyola in the GHAC play-in games!

p.s. See below...Mike L'Africain did not play last night due to undisclosed reasons.

You are right Coach Bee...i assumed he did. But just talked to him via BBM and he sat
out the game for undisclosed reasons! He'll be back in action on Monday in a GHAC
play-in game to see who goes to OFSAA(top 2 teams out of the 4 of Loyola, Holy Trinity, St. Thomas More and Hamilton Cathedral).
Thanks for the info Coach Bee...that's why you mustn't assume! You know what happens when
    you assume! ha ha ha

Just goes to show you how good the Loyola Hawks are as a basketball team. Losing your starting point guard (nationally ranked) would hurt most teams drastically. But the Hawks are a great team, clearly!

great team leaders always get suspended the week of regional title games...good for the coaches and school to not show any favoritism

Bruins, I know that he got suspended and the reason but didn't want to throw a good kid under the bus. No biggie as he's learned from the experience and will be better for it. The incident was blown up a bit...but all students should be treated equally as you said!
He's got a big game Monday and is ready to get back on the floor.
