Re: MAURICE WALKER
I'm not sure what they will do - he may redshirt but he is close to ready right now so a decision will come soon. He has been working out with the team a little I understand but I'm not sure how much contact he has been permitted.
Its getting late in the year to waste another year of eligibility. He already lost last season.

Re: MAURICE WALKER
They seem to think highly of him in Minnesota!
He's such a great young man!

Re: MAURICE WALKER
About 10 days I googled his name, and there was a comment on a Minn site, that he had only now started light work-outs. Very slow recovery from the knee operation, not sure if weight has beem a factor, with no exercising? Hope he recovers soon.

Re: MAURICE WALKER
He actually was on the bench in late December. See this comment on a blog:
"Gophers sophomore center Mo Walker dressed in uniform and participated in the pre-gram warmups. But I wasn’t surprised at all that he sat on the bench the entire game. I’ve heard he’s still strongly considering redshirting even though he could be cleared soon to do more in practice. I don’t think it would be worth it for him to play now. He wouldn’t make that much of a difference coming off the knee injury. And imagine the player he could be as a fifth-year senior down the road alongside another redshirt post player Elliott Eliason."
