Any News on the Junior Peel Tier 1 Playoff Picture?

Anybody know what's going on yet? When are the games and what are the match-ups?

The last tie-breaker was played yesterday so the coaches would have to send in the seeding forms today. That means the schedule will be out either late this afternoon or early tomorrow morning.

St Joseph defeated St Joan Arc today. I assume that gets them into the playoffs.

No it does not guarantee them a playoff spot, it means they are now eligible for a playoff spot. Coaches will still have to vote them in for them to make the playoffs.

Campion also won their tiebreaker against ND by 4

9 Teams are :

1st in Division:
DY (7-0)
Goetz (6-0)
St. Roch (6-0)

2nd in Division
Ascension (5-2)
Gonzaga (4-2)
Xavier (4-2)

3rd in Division (Wildcards) (one team will not make it)
Campion (5-2)
Pocock (4-2)
St. Joes (3-3)

First place teams can be place 1-4, a second place team can place as high as 2 but not ahead of the first place team in their division and as low as 8.
Wildcards can be placed from 5th to 9th. 9th place team does not make the playoffs

The above is not quite correct. 2nd place teams can only be seeded as low as 8th which means they are in the playoffs. Only a 3rd place team can be seeded 9th.

Also, Ascension is 5-2, not 6-1. They were 2nd on the three way tie-breaker with Campion and ND.

4) Ascension (no tournaments, beat Campion -4 starters by 20, lost to ND)(could possibly drop to the 7-8 spot)(how did they do at the ROCH tourny?)

5) Campion (Beat Vaughan, Gonzaga, Vanier, played tight versus Holy Trinity. Can Swap places with Ascension, which would mean home court advantage)

6) Pocock (played a couple of tournments and competed with good teams, but went 0-3 at the Rimrocker)

7) Xavier (0-3 at rimrocker but played Downsview tough losing by under 10 and beat pocock, lost to a Suzuki in the last game of the season but already cliched 2nd)(played at the Holy Trinity Tournament went 1-1)(can swap with pocock at the 6th spot or go as high as the 4 seed, depending how coaches compare teams and strength of divisions)

Gonzaga (not much to say, lost to dyouville by 40 early on, and Campion by 8 recently, lost to Mount Carmel)

9) St. Joes(3-3 in league, filled in at the rimrocker but was in a very tough group to see any good results, won 2 games to get the wild card) (how did they do at the ROCH tourny?)

Seeds 4-8 are going to be veeeeerrrryyyy interesting with two 5-2 teams and three 4-2 teams.

Im not sure of the scores but Ascension lost to geotz by 12 and beat st.joes by like 15 or 16
