Mother Teresa Early Bird Tournament - March 21 Results

Mother Teresa will be hosting a tournament for boys in Gr. 7 and under in late March. The most probable date is March 21. We welcome both Public and Catholic schools.

The entry fee will be $40.00.

The tournament is for Gr. 7 and under only.

Gr. 8's are not eligible.

Majority of grade 8s have decided where they will attend high school next year. Time to move onto recruiting the 6th and 7th graders.

That is a cheap shot for sure loveball!

It is long since established that Mother Teresa does not recruit from outside its feeder schools. This tournament is being hosted for schools in the Mother Teresa area.

With only five schools entered we put this up on Hooptown because we are hoping for more teams. This does not constitute recruiting as I understand the term.

There are other schools in the GTA that constantly bring in players from far outside their geographical boundaries that to me constitutes recruiting. Mother Teresa is simply not in that category.

Our ideal is either 6 or 8 teams.

It will be a one-day event so we really could not go beyond those numbers.

With the addition of St. Martin de Porres we are now at six teams:

We want 6 or 8 teams so we will accept two more teams. I am waiting to hear from two schhools this week.
