Wow...some interesting poening round games.

On Thursday, I think MacNabb will surprise Dunbarton and Pickering will upset PJP II.

On Friday the Eastern/d'Youville game will be good; especially if Justin Jackson is in the lineup for Eastern.

Found it a bit fishy that the schedule kept changing even when the tournament started, teams that were scheduled to play one another were than changed for whatever reason.

The only change made was a typo which would have had the possibility of two teams that played each other in a first game meeting each other again in the quarterfinals. It did not make sense in a 16-team draw.

Because teams asked for particular start times the second round was hard to put down on paper but basically it was an OFSSAA style draw with winner playing loser in the second round. Its the same format that we've used for the last three years.

The same change in the quarter-finals was made for tomorrow's draw.

Thanks to Coach Clement and the rest of the MT coaching staff for organizing a first class field and a well run day 1 of the tournament. My players had a chance to play against two incredible teams today and this was a valuable experience for my team.

With so many first-class teams there were many standouts - too many to name in all honesty.

Fr. Henry Carr appears to be a very special group of players. They have so much talent and so much depth.

Sir Allan MacNab is also strong although their outstanding PG (Trpcic) went out with an injury. Hopefully it is not too serious!

I love your demeanour on the bench you are always so positive with your kids! You have a great program at Dunbarton. The more I see the more I am impressed!

Dunbarton has great coaches and players that play with poise. Mother Theresa's #10 is looking really good their big man needs some work but with time i think he'll be alright. Pickering #23 is really agressive when penetrating and playing defence. Jordan Hamilton of Pope John Paull II didnt really impress as he usual does. #13 on Downsview wow. He's a player can score and pass the ball at a high level. FHC three headed monsters with number #15 #1 and Ty. Macnab's Matt trcpic is always a joy to see.

I have also had to change the semi-finals as well. This is in order that the possibility of teams from the same half of the draw not face one another for a second time before the finals.

Unfortunately my focus has been on the teams who have been withdrawing and how to fill those spots as the dates drew nearer.
