Re: South Tier 2 Scores
Those would be the East Division favorites. I wouldn't count out a very good Parkdale team from our(West) division.

I know that they are coached by Jason Williams and he is a terrific coach. I battled him for two years in the Girls division with me at Churchill and him at Birchmount. I have never beaten him and I would love to get one this year.
A coach is one of the key differences in making a team strong and Jason is the perfect example. Eastern scored 90 points against Lawrence on Tuesday and I am positive that his boys at Garneau were not intmidated and ready to play them. They did two things today. They beat Eastern by 16 points and most importantly, held them to 36 total points. You won't lose many games if you give up that little.

Re: South Tier 2 Scores
i totally agree with you coach , good team needs a good coach to put them together example boston celetics Doc Rivers was perfect for the job unlike isaih tomhas for new york. do east teams play west teams? and also do the top 2 teams of the east and the west go to reigionals or do the top 2 teams from the west and another 2 from the east go to. If so wat are you predictions to go on top.

Re: South Tier 2 Scores
Each division has 8 teams and they play each other once which equals seven games. The top 4 in the East and West division cross over and play the quarter finals. They would be as follows:
East 1 vs West 4
West 1 vs East 4
East 2 vs West 3
West 2 vs East 3
Since we are in Tier two, we do not qualify for the regionals.
At the University of Toronto tournament there were four Tier 2 teams from our division. They were us(Central Commerce), Humberside, Harbord and Parkdale and we all played awful. Not a good representation for the West on our part.
Eastern was the only Tier 2 rep from the East and they played well.
I feel that Marc Garneau will take top spot in your division and are the favorites to win the title. They have a great coach and beat Eastern by quite a bit on Thursday. Jarvis, Eastern and Riverdale should be the other playoff teams from your side.
In the West, I would of said us and Parkdale are the favorites if this question came out yesterday. Problem is, we both played awful today(Especially us) and that has me thinking. If we can get our act together then all will be fine. We had five players missing today, one player get injured and another player pull a low class move and left the tournament before the last game. We finished with 6 healthy bodies and it really didn't help that he decided to pull a stunt like that. To bail on your teammates and friends takes an act of cowardice and he really has to man up and apologize to his team. With all that being said, we now have lost all of the positive momentum we achieved by winning our first two league games. Tune in.
So now, it is wide open on our side as to who will move through to the playoffs so unfortunately, nobody is standing out.

We are looking forward to Isiah returning to our lineup as he was missed. He is a great kid to coach who has tremendous talent and always gives 100%. Derrick is averaging 27 points per game for us but we need for him to be at practice and give a better committment.
Our star this season has been my center Austin, who has had two straight triple doubles for us in league play. That would be at least 10 blocks, 20 rebounds and 15 points. He had a season high 15 blocks and 27 rebounds in our game Tuesday. He is my captain and team leader who always gives it his all. He has a very bright future ahead of him as he has terrific marks in school. You put together these three players along with the rest of our squad and we are a very good team. We played close games against Central Tech and Monarch Park yesterday who are both Tier 1 teams without Isiah and Derrick. Our strength is our defence which will only get better. I don't think Jarvis is the favorite but you would not be a good teammate if you didn't believe in your own team so I respect you for that.
Once again, Marc Garneau is the team to beat.
