    League: Durham Region

    City: Ajax

    Skinny: Jevon Jacobs scored 18 points in a 68-52 league win over Pine Ridge.Beat West Hill 78-69 in final of the Holiday Classic. Defeated Mother Teresa (Toronto) 73-68, St. Marguerite d'Youville 57-44 and Jarvis by default.

    2. West Hill (16-2)

    Points: 216. Last week: No. 6

    League: TDSSAA

    City: Toronto

    Skinny: Lost to Pickering by nine in the final of the Holiday Classic. Beat Assumption (Burlington) 68-54 and Newtonbrook 85-51. Defeated Pearson 76-65 in a league game. Defeated Borden 80-70 in a league game with Adrian Tomlinson scoring 34 points in the win.

    3. Father Henry Carr (21-2)

    Points: 215. Last week: No. 5

    League: TDCAA

    City: Toronto

    Skinny: Theon Reefer scored a game-high 25 points in a 78-52 win over Father Goetz, beat Downsview 94-68 and defeated Holy Cross (Kingston) 72-46 at the Xavier Rimrocker tourney. Defeated Vaughan (Thornhill) 67-56. Beat Don Bosco 83-46 and Cardinal McGuigan 85-47 in league games.

    4. Eastern Commerce (13-1)

    Points: 214. Last week: No. 1

    League: TDSSAA

    City: Toronto

    Skinny: Lost to West Hill 72-66 in semifinal of Holiday Classic. Defeated Emery 63-47 and West Humber 92-37. Defeated Jarvis 71-38 in a league game.

    5. Mother Teresa (13-2)

    Points: 213. Last week: No. 2

    League: TDCAA

    City: Toronto

    Skinny: Lost to Pickering by five in a semifinal at the Holiday Classic. Defeated Beal (London) 82-77. Beat Brebeuf 109-36 in a league game with Maurice Walker scoring 19 points for the winners.

    6. St. Marguerite d'Youville (12-1)

    Points: 211. Last week: No. 3

    League: Peel Region

    City: Brampton

    Skinny: Beat Mount Carmel 60-51 and West Humber 69-37 at the Xavier Rimrocker tournament. Lost to Pickering 57-44 at the Holiday Classic. Beat Mere Teresa (Hamilton) 73-37.

    7. Assumption (19-3)

    Points: 209. Last week: No. 7

    League: Halton Region

    City: Burlington

    Skinny: Lost to West Hill by 14 at the Holiday Classic. Squeeze by Central Commerce 77-74. Down Notre Dame (Burlington) 78-56 in a league game. Defeated Christ the King 85-66 in a league game.

    8. Vaughan (14-5)

    Points: 207. Last week: No. 9

    League: York Region

    City: Thornhill

    Skinny: Josh Collins scored 26 points in a 105-62 crushing of Woodbridge and had 27 points in another league win, this time 90-62 over Maple. Lost to Father Henry Carr by 11.

    9. St. Edmund Campion (17-3)

    Points: 206. Last week: N/R

    League: Peel Region

    City: Brampton

    Skinny: Byron Trench scored 29 points in a 70-50 win over Martingrove and beat Richardson 65-54 at the Xavier Rimrocker tourney.

    10. Loyola (13-3)

    Points: 204. Last week: N/R

    League: Peel Region

    City: Mississauga

    Skinny: Greg Osawe scored 28 points in an 87-81 league win over Gonzaga. Defeated Erindale 84-75.

    Honourable mention: Martingrove, Oakwood, St. Theresa of Lisieux, Father Goetz, Markham.

    Dropped from previous week: Martingrove (Cool and Oakwood (10)



    Looks like none of the coaches see Xavier as an opposing threat as these standings include the rim rocker. Happy to see Goetz made HM.

    There are done by the coaches themselves analyzing what they see as threats and performances the Star does not sort them out
