Campion defeated Xavier by 8 today. Xavier played with heart but the loss of three key players due to illness and another one who left early with bad leg cramping was simply too much to over come. Campion now controls their fate the rest of the way in the Central division and looks good for a top-3 seed in the playoffs.

Laurier 64 West hill 52 today

Am I reasing that correctly? West Hill lost to Laurier by 12?

yes yes you are, bad game by west hill, great game by laurier= upset

just liek bad game for goetz bad days do occur in b-ball as u can see

Yeah, unfortunately it was probably our worst shooting game and poorest performance of the season! Extremely disappointing way to start 2009....

Laurier played well, so congrats to them. Definitely life goes on and we will see them again soon.

With the St. Mike's Tournament starting on Thursday, there is no time to dwell on a poor outing, there are many big games to be played...

(I like Bballoutrageous's enthusiasm though...Good game to Laurier)

Loyola 87 Goetz 83 OT.... amaziing game to watch one of the best. Loyola seemed to have they game in their pocket with a 10 point lead but Goetz brought it back and tied the game going into the 4th. The took the lead of close to 6 points and with 10 sec left had a three point lead with loyola possession. No.1 on Loyola takes a dangerous right angle fade away three pointer which to all look to be an air ball, it hit the far right side of the back board but managed to somehow spin left to go in the hoop. Tied game and now going into OT, during OT No.1 gets fouled out and is sent off but loyola just kept giving it and had a 4 point lead and then rest resulted in foul shoots. Goetz showed a lot of spirit and effort even being one man short (tubbs). Was a game to watch.

Western beat Oakwood.

Harvey beat Newtonbrook.
Harvey plays Western (finals) tomorrow in that tournament.

Western Tech did beat Oakwood but they're going to have to pull off another big win to get in.

After seeing Vaughan Rd. play in the first round of the St. Mike's Tour. they are no longer in
and not evening a honourable mention. They are seriously disfunctional.

Even though Father Goetz lost two games I'm keeping them in considering they took my #8 team to overtime in
a good game.

It's going to be tough to break into the top 5. If any teams can do it my feeling is that it will be either D'youville or Oakwood.

Father Goetz after to back - back losses moves up?

i knew i was being optimistic towards Father Goetz but
they lost to loyola in a great game in overtime and scored 83 points.
loyola is #8 so i only consider Father Goetz one loss questionable.
i have confidence that they will bounce back.
the lowest i would seed them is #13 or #14.
this list may get all mixed up by the time the weekend is done.
