What's happend to the Sweet 16?Jan/11th/2009

Now that the St.Mike's is over, i would like to think about putting the teams in order. This is going to be a very, very difficult task for you Rick, I feel really sorry for you. To Speak the Truth, This is the Only year, since ive been following high school basketball, that 15-20 Teams could contend with each other on any given day. I tried to create my list based on the " What have you done latley", but as many can see, alot of the "lower" teams have been competing, if not beating the "higher" ranked teams. This is my opinion, after watching alot of basketball. Every team on my list, with the exception with Pope John Paul & J.C. Richardson, I have seen. This is my opinion, and i love criticism. The Top 20 teams are:

2. Mother Teresa-TDCSB East
3. Pickering-Durham
4. Oakwood-TDSB South
5. Henry Carr-TDCSB West
6. West Hill-TDSB East
7. d'Youville-Peel
8. Vaughan-York
9. Loyola-Peel
10. Central Commerce-TDSB South
11. Campion-Peel
12. Martingrove-TDSB West
13. Western Tech-TDSB South
14. Pine Ridge-Durham
15. Vaughan Road-TDSB West
16. Notre Dame (Ajax)-Durham

17. St. Francis Xavier-Peel
18. Pope John Paul-TDCSB West
19. Jeffery's-TDSB North
20. Emery-TDSB North

H.M.(in no order)- Laurier-TDSB East, Father Goetz-Peel, George Harvey-TDSB West, J.C. Richardson-Durham, Milliken Mills-York, Markham-York, Northern-TDSB South

notre dame ajax is way to high they werein't even H.M last update so you can't but them in the top 16

kiddddo is right Notre Dame Ajax beat Laurier, milliken mills and they beat markham by around 20 in the finals all in one day in the past weekend at the Milliken Mills Classic so personally I think they deserve the 16th spot.

i get what you guys are saying but they havin't beat a ranked team so they can't bump top 16 teams without beating them

they didnt get the spot by only winning those games, but by Father Gotez loosing two games to sub-par teams(Carmel, Missisauga).

Laurier would have been my choice if they had not enterd the touni this weekend. That doesn't mean the cant beat any other team on that list with ease. I love how Basketball in the GTA this year is, Anything could happen, its like a mini March Madness!
