CANADA BASKETBALL ANNOUNCES U19 MEN'S NATIONAL TEAM OPEN TRYOUTS
The U19 team will play in the U19 FIBA World Championship for Men in Greece
Toronto, ON – Canada Basketball will conduct open tryouts for the 2015 U19 men’s national team on Thursday, June 4 at Humber College – North Campus from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The tryouts are open to athletes born between 1996 and 1998. Athletes must have a valid Canadian passport.
Canada’s U19 men’s national team will compete in the FIBA U19 World Championship in Greece from June 27 to July 5.
Athletes interested in participating in the open tryout should arrive at the Humber College – North Campus gym at 5:30 p.m. to register. A passport and birth certificate will need to be verified.
An athletic therapist will be onsite for emergency services only. All taping must be done by the athlete.
The tryout will be closed to the media. Information for media availability during training camp will be released prior to camp.
