PHS 58 DHS 52
We were down by 4 at the half up by 4 at some point in the 4th PHS went on a 10-0 run I am pretty sure (or something close) Rodney-Readhead made 10 points in the fourth. We sent them to the line twice in the closing minutes but couldn't capitalize...had a great look at a 3 to tie.
Congratulations to Pickering coaching staff and their players. Well done.
I am immensely proud of my boys. They really came together for the final game and cannot be questioned about their effort. I think they handled themselves with a lot of class in a tough loss.
Thanks to the team, parents, fans, staff, coaches and most importantly our families (my wife and two little kids, Coach Heyes' wife and 3 little kids, Coach Norland's young family as well). Our families don't get enough credit for putting up with the late nights, early mornings and long weekends.
