Is it better to be a star or major player on your junior team or be a role player on your senior team as a grade 10?

Re: Playing Senior in Grade 10
I would suggest this, and in most cases, Senior coaches will do this...if you can play junior and do work, but you are also capable of playing senior, that senior coach will use you in tournaments to give you a feel to see if your capable. That has been going on for years, and that way your not giving up you ability completely to be more dominant in junior.

IMO, it would be wiser to be a "role" on the senior team because your getting used to bigger and tougher opponents rather than just being a superstar in junior; like its better to score 10-20 in a game that I LEARN from, rather than score 35 in a game that's easier and much more relaxed.

Re: Playing Senior in Grade 10
If you're good enough you should be playing senior- not wasting time in junior especially if you have intentions of playing at the next level where most likely you'll sit for the first few years. You learn much more playing and practicing with better players. Senior coaches bring up the best grade 10's and maybe grade 9's especially if they are looking to take players to the next level- similar to varsity programs in the US- the best in the school play varsity regardless of age
