Why is everyone throwing out these huge numbers? Why not try to identify the Top 3-5 players in Peel Rather than 50; which is nearly equivalent to 4 full teams. 50 is riciculous

Only if you think Peel ends at the Brampton-Mississauga border. Check out the scoring numbers posted from various games and you'll see that Jamal from Xavier is having a great season, too.

Yeah I never even heard of this Dylan guy from D'Y and seen him at a couple of games lately and trust me he is playing solid. He is really aggressive and bangs with guys much bigger than him.

3. Jamal Pryce – Having a huge season for Xavier.
4. Chris Anderson – Most Versatile defensive player in Peel. Can guard positions 2-5, and shut them down. (Ie. Bikram, Clennon, Madray,Selkridge, Grasic)
5. Jahmal Jones –Have only seen him play twice. Both times very impressive.

Im not going to argue with you.

Look at the players mentioned above, stat lines when playing Mount Carmel. Their is a significant drop in their point productions when Chris Anderson guards them. Maybe "shut down" is the wrong term to use. " containing them" is realistic though.

Containg a player for one game makes you a top player in a region now , wow ! There is another part to this game we call offence ... I don't want to say he doesn't have that because the kid is on my list. Good player on one side of the court, sorry not top 5 for sure !

So guys are Top players on the list because of their offfence? Top players do more than score. Chris Anderson has contained players for the past 3 years now, not just one game. I think it is time he gets some recognition. His defence is stronger than his offence but his offence is not that far behind, He can go inside and outside. The reason why Chris doesnt put up big number offensivly is because of the balanced scoring Mount Carmel produces. One reason for the balanced attack is they run the Flex Motion (everybody gets a touch); been running if for the last 5 years. Jordan Henry went to Mount Carmel, a former top 5 player in Peel, and scored no more than 5 25 point games in 5 years of senior. Also, few High school teams keep Assist stats. If MC did you would see that he is a very unselfish player too. Chris guards the best player on opposing teams 90% of the time. It has been successfull for him and Coach Tucci obviously.

Why did I put him Top 5? Because when you look at what he has accomplished in 3.5 years of senior he deserves to be there. He is a Leader of a team that has surpassed expectations the last 2 years. He is a Winner, brought Mount Carmel to the semi finals the last 2 years, when nobody expected them to be there. The coaches in Peel recognise his talent; Top 20 player in Peel last year. Proved to be a mentally tough player at this years Rimrocker ( hit 3 free throws to send in to OT1. Hit 2 free throws to send into OT2 against ND). Currently being recruited by a top Nationally ranked CIS team, Ottawa. "sorry not top 5 for sure". You can argue against him being Top 5, I understand that. But to say "for sure" he is not Top 5 is disrespecting what he has acomplished at a school that puts far less talent around their top player than other schools. His name deserves to be in the mix for Top 5.
