I guess tournaments aren't as much a factor as I imagined. Both Goetz and Mississauga beat Notre Dame at the Sheridan Cup, yet ND got the 4th seed... Interesting.

When do the playoffs start? What day and which location is the final at? Is it at Sheridan and both junior/senior finals will be that day?

Why is it sandalwood/ascension, how do they decide who gets that seed?

ND finished 2nd in their division so they could only receive a 4, 5, or 6 seed...

Prediction: This one is tricky. If Sandalwood wins the tiebreaker, I think Notre Dame will beat them to advance. However, if Ascension wins the tiebreaker, I like Ascension to win this game, as they cause match-up problems for Notre Dame. Regardless, Ascension does not have anything lose, seeing that they will focus on competing for 3A.

Prediction: This should be a really great game. I like Mount Carmel's squad, but I do not think it is enough to beat Campion. Campion in a close victory.

K Mississauga @ Xavier
Prediction: I'm going to go with an upset here. The last two years, Xavier seems to always peek early and fall when it matters the most. I've been disappointed with their last couple of performances and believe that Mississauga will win this in a close bout.

L Ascension @ Father Goetz or Father Goetz @ Notre Dame
Prediction: Ascension or Notre Dame will advance.

SEMI FINALS

Prediction: D'youville by double digits against either squad

N Campion @ Mississauga
Prediction: Campion by double digits

FINALS

O Campion vs D'youville
Prediction: D'youville by 5-10 points

- It's fair to say that D'youville is the favorite to win and the team to beat. They hold their own destiny.
- It's unfortunate that Campion lost their last league game to increase their chance of going to OFSAA and avoid playing D'youville in the semis. It shows what kind of character the coaches at Campion have. However, with the way the seeding comes about, Campion took advantage of the situation. Campion losing to Aquinas purposely demonstrates how poorly the playoff structure is and should be a wake-up call to peel officials in the future.
- The team that hurts the most from the seeding is Mount Carmel. I truly believe that they are a final four team.

Ascenscion will play Notre Dame in the first round.

don't be so sure campion will beat anyone in the playoffs. i had the chance to see them this weekend at the all-catholic and they do not look like the powerhouse they have been before. there cocky and don't stop chirping each other or the officials. there borderline dirty with jerseys grabs and they got their asses kicked by loyola. poor class at the end of the game.

i predict mount caramel beating dyouville in the finals of ropssaa!

"Asses kicked" how you figure, wasn't it only like a 10 point game? So what exactly happened at the end of the game, did they do something?

How was the D'Y and Loyola game? Any insights into what you saw.
