whos taking peel goetz,joan or arc, dy, etc.
and who to watch for ?

i think dyouville would be the best bet...if not d'y then i would put fletchers,mount carmel, campion,or goetz as the top teams to go to finals

they were semi-finalists last year and this year they have solid juniors coming up

yeah but who was on their team last year then??? and keep in mind they were in the weakest division in peel last year as well, so they had an easy way to the semis.. are you taking it in g?? as well who did they lose to in the semis???

Peel uses cross over for the playoffs so, even if the division was weak, they would not have had an easy road to the semi-finals.

Goetz took D'Y to the wire in those Semi-Finals last year.

Dimitri, will have some help in the backcourt now with RJ moving up.

yeah but even soo with the crossover rule , goetz faced the 4th best team in whatever division since they were placed first, so technically YES they did have the easiest way to the semis.

If you put goetz in the north division this year, they would struggle to even make the play offs matter of fact there is a good chance they wouldnt even get through to the play offs

They were ranked 4th in Peel play offs last year. D'Youville and Xavier had the easiest path to the semi finals last year.

Dimitri Bailey was there only decent player last year. Oh, and Ulyss (sorry, dont know how to spell his name). They defied odds and made it to the semi-finals. They finished last year playing some great basketball despite being less talented than some teams they beat. ie. ND Brampton

This year the core group of their Junior Championship team from 2 years ago will play all together again. That is why everybody is mentioning Goetz.

I dont recall who they played in the play - offs. Peel uses ranking in the play - offs based on what place you finsihed within your division. This is not considered crossover. The 2 seeds ahead of Goetz would have had an easier path to the semi finals. I did not include Carmel because they had the hardest quarterfinal game of any peel team last year as a #2 seed thanks to the Campion game throwers.

okay either way, im sure you know this as well but goetzis not going to be a contender this year, and there is "one" team this year flying under the radar that is going to be a HUGE surprise LMAOOO its funny because they have not even been mentionned once at all in all these peel discussions this should be entertaining hahaha

Goez will be an outside contender.

Fletchers, D'youville, and Ascension are the main contenders in Peel. BCSS will have a shot too.

I absolutely agree with you however there is still one team that No one has even mentioned, i wont even bother mentionning them haha ill let it be a surprise and i still say goetz is not even close to winning it this year.

Lincoln Alexander is looking good so far. They have played quite a few games which will help them gel. Team to watch in Peel this season.

thats what ive been trying to find out and pretty much everyone said they're only decent player is dimitrie bailey, and some gr 11s but dim is the best so i keep saying NO THREAT!

It's pretty obvious that you habour ill feelings towards Father Goetz and you are entitled to that "kobee14" but maybe you should concentrate more on the other teams, including your big surprise school.
Why don't you concentrate bigging up this school you say will surprise? Let the cat out of the bag, who is it? Do you play for them?

If I let the cat out of the bag, then it just woouldnt be a "surprise" anymore, besides i am extremely shocked that no one has yet to even mention this squad even once! just doesn't make sense. I'll give you a hint though, they probably wont make much noise early in the season however in the second part around january thats when the surprises come out
