Mike Schmidt - former Metro All-Star

Anyone know what happened to Mike Schmidt after high school? He was a Metro all-star at North Albion, then got a full ride at Texas. Just watching Corey & Tristian succeed at Texas jogged my memory of Mike and I wonder how his career at Texas and beyond developed.

I believe Mike Schmidt went to Texas A&M (before transferring to Niagara). The last Texas Longhorn from Canada was David Phillip (St. Catharines Collegiate Class of '95), who spent one year there before transferring.
