ROPSSAA Playoffs

Haven't seen the official schedule but, based on the rankings that were passed on to me and the original schedule, there are:

Quarter-Finals (Played Tuesday, Feb 19)

8. Xavier @ 1. D'Youville
7. St. Joes @ 2. Mount carmel
6. Notre Dame @ 3. Campion
5. Ascension @ 4. Goetz

Semi-Finals (Played Thursday, Feb 21)

Xavier/D'Youville winner vs. Ascension/Goetz winner
St. Joes/Carmel winner vs Notre Dame/Campion winner

Finals (played Monday, Feb 25)

Semi-final winners

Both finalists advance to AAAA ROPSSAA in Windsor unless one of the two teams is Ascension (who declared AA.) Then the two semi-final losers would play off for the 2nd berth.

D'Youville 43-35 Ascension

Campion and D'Youville both qualify for AAAA OFSAA.

St. Roch will represent Peel at AAA OFSAA (No playoff with GHAC needed this year.)

St. Famille will represent Peel at AA OFSAA (Also no playoff needed.)

Brampton Christian from Peel will play GHAC's King's Christian next week for a berth at A OFSAA.

Why did St. Famille advance to OFSSAA AA over Ascension?

How does Ascension beat Goetz..... keep it close with dYouville... and LOSE to St. Famille in a Ofsaa qualifying game.....
