I was looking at my lists of previous OFSAA boys champions and decided to make a list of the largest classification winners each year. In other words, once OFSAA started adding multiple levels, which ever level consisted of the largest schools and thus tended to attract the top teams most years. (Please let's not sidetrack into debate; while there are many good schools in each of the classifications, teams in smaller classifications who would otherwise dominate have historically played up in the largest classification at some point.)
For the record, the largest classification was 1A from 1949-1967; 2A from 1968-1970; 3A from 1971-2001; and 4A from 2002-2014.
The numbers listed below include some 0.5 scores because OFSAA actually split the province in half from 1964-1966 and ran dual provincial championships. However, I have not included 0.5 when tallying host cities.
