Top five would be a stretch. Carr A, Pickering/Vaughan, and Pope should be top 4, dont you think? And it looks like there is some agreement on the top 8, with a little variety in the order of 5-8.

Lost by one in SBA Tournament.

They were very athletic and with the talent they had could have played with anyone in a given game imo.

I agree. Would you place them 5th or 6th? Ahead of MT or behind?

Ahead of us. That team had scary potential.

I liked that Patrick Stewart guy as a player as well as Dane and Jenno not to mention Musa. They definitely had all the parts.

Yes, I agree. I like the top 8 suggested by you and Zen. But I dont know how to separate Pickering or Vaughan at #2 and #3:

    1. Father Henry Carr A
    2. Pickering or Vaughan S.S
    3. Pickering or Vaughan S.S.
    4. John Paul II
    5. Notre Dame (Ajax)
    6. Mother Teresa
    7. Henry Carr B
    8. Eastern

I give Vaughan the edge in the latter part of the season.

With the injury to Pickering's Brandon Tull and Cy rounding into form for Vaughan I think Vaughan had it going a little better!

I love the fact that ND Ajax gets placed so high for a big win late in the season and Richview and Eastern are in the top 10 because they made it to the final of a league with little depth. Yet Xavier is somehow pushed way down the ladder after beating all three of those teams at the Rimrocker. If ND is a top-5 team and Richview and Eastern are top-10 teams then how is Xavier no better than 13?

Some will argue their two league losses after the Rimrocker, even though they walked over one of those same teams in their last game of the season when they had their full line-up and the other loss was with only 2 starters and six players total. If late season is important, then what does looking like the hottest team among the final four of the province's deepest league count for?

Peel Fan, your boosting of Xavier should STOP now. What makes you say that Xavier is hottest team in Peel? Goetz and d'Youville are both playing their best basketball of the season right now. Goetz won the consolation championship at the junior boys all catholic tournament.

D'Youville and Goetz should both be top 16 in the GTA.
