Re: Next Year Top Teams?
I dont know about Loyola ( Mississauga ) being a top team next year. They lose Tamoy, Greg, and possibly Nik. Juwan, if he ends up staying at Loyola, is good but not good enough to make Loyola a top team in the GTA.

Re: Next Year Top Teams?
Figure the solid juniors moving up from Carr, Vaughan, Pickering, Notre Dame and PJP2 will certainly give those teams a push.

Re: Next Year Top Teams?
There entire team is staying back accept for Mohamed Osman who was a fifth year. Key players that are returning:
Starters:
Matthew Wright (4th year)
Stevan Manolojvic (4th year)
Justin Bakuteka (2nd year)
Troy Mc Donald (3rd year)
Other Players:
DJ Brown (2nd year)
Amanjit Dhillon (3rd year)
JJ Williams (3rd year)
Also there junior program was very good, so you can bet that 5 of those starters will be on the team as well.

"probly carr" will be off the charts.

Re: Next Year Top Teams?
I dont think D'youville will be top 5 they are losing players I heard... Carr has also lost some players but there junior teams are always successful and they should be alright..Mother Teresa I have no clue losing 2 KEY players Ashton Khan and Maurice Walker... Pickering and Eastern usually have good teams.. and Martingrove who has 4 returning starters apparantly should be a powerhouse next year being led by Matthew Wright and should probably be competeing for the top 3 spot..

Mother Teresa will be fine. Losing Ashton and Mo as well as Onnex Blackwood is huge but there is always talent at Mother Teresa.
We return Ancil Martin, Jon Alexander, Mookie Knott, Ryan Augustine, Jordan Lem, Richie Kanza, Dwayne Dawes, Matthew Augustine and more. I believe Alex Romano is also back.
There are some good Juniors from another Top Ten Junior team moving up including Stevie Squires, Adika Peter-McNeilly, Samy Mohamed and Jordan McCurbin. DeShaun Williams may also be ready.

Re: Next Year Top Teams?
Martingrove should be a contender for top 5 next year if the players that I am hearing about coming back are actually coming back...
Matthew Wright
Justin Bakuteka
Troy Mcdonald
Stevan Manoljovic
DJ Brown
JJ Williams
... These are the 6 players ( also M. Osman who is gone) that have carried this Martingrove Team to all there success.. There rotation isnt very deep but the starting 5 next year plus the 6 man on the bench wont be anything the other team is looking to match up against.. We will just have to wait till next year but im thinking that Martingrove will be placed Top 5 in the city and could possibly take 3A OFSSAA if there key players stay healthy...

Re: Next Year Top Teams?
Let's be honest with this Martingrove team.
Matthew Wright
Justin Bakuteka
Troy Mcdonald
Stevan Manoljovic
were the players that lead this team.
Dujoun Brown was not much of a factor for them this year, nor was JJ Williams.

Re: Next Year Top Teams?
I think Sir Wilfred Laurier could be a shocker next season consider the the whole starting line-up was grade 3 grade 11's, 1 grade 12 and 1 5th year...i also believe everyone is returning except for the 2 5th year players they had. Last season this was a yung team who was able to beat top 10 ranked West Hill not once but twice and one of those victories came in the east region championship... next season being lead by Daniel Mullings and David Kembora Laurier will have a good season...

Re: Next Year Top Teams?
DJ Brown and JJ Williams are key players because one of the 2 most likely are going to be starting next year... and also they were the only 2 off the bench that had produced some sort of defence and offence... everyone else on Martingrove bench sucked ...

Re: Next Year Top Teams?
I do not know what your talking about .. DJ Brown was a bigger factor this year when it came down to the big games then both JJ Williams and Aman Dhillon... JJ Williams is a good player I am not trying to say hes not I am saying that he is going to be one of the key players including DJ Brown to Martingroves road to becoming the best team in the GTA next year.. Aman Dhillon on the other hand I do not know why you keep bringing up that guys name he has been on the team for 2 years now and im guessing 2 years junior? But this guy is not good at all he has not put in anything towards Martingroves success stop bringing his name up..

Re: Next Year Top Teams?
Abviously you cant make a BIG impact when you have players like Matthew, Stevan , and Justin but the 2 still did have some sort of impact otherwise why would there coach be playing them against competitive teams and in big games such as the City Finals???... All im trying to say is that Martingrove bench sucks .. except for DJ and JJ .. There teams success does come from there starting 5 BUT DJ and JJ are the only 2 off the bench that could do something productive..

Re: Next Year Top Teams?
it's hard to say martingrove, carr, will be powerhouses if everything goes well for them. but there are a lot of variable. transfers, players getting better. i think there will be surprise teams next year who will open some eyes.
