Re: Humber College Classic
Was there for the whole day today alot of INTERESTING games.. Congradulations to Campion for a great tournament win ... Also congradulations to Martingrove for a hard fought battle despite losing players in and out due to injuries but hey thats just how the game is played.. St. Mikes very well played tournament surprising many people almost beating Martingrove .. and beating Vaughn who beat Martingrove... Pope John Paul not a very good tournament for them losing early to St. Mikes in a game last second shot.. A very good tournament more interesting then the Carr tournament in my mind...

Not at all. Carr had some great teams but so did this one. I preferred this one because there were more close games and more results were in doubt.

This is true,if any team should complain it should be pope who were without their 3 best players who are of a much higher calibre then other players out.whatupdawg wrote:yo wy iz menz dem alwazy makin xcuzes....pla d gamz...

Re: Humber College Classic
I agree.
Hooptown should make a new Rule...NO EXCUSES.
The only thing that matters is that Team A beat Team B. Not who was out or injured or suspended.
Basketball is a TEAM GAME. So coaches work with your bench and young players in practice, and give them some minutes in meaningful games.
So when "two of your starters are missing" for whatever reason, your bench can play. They should be part of your Game Plan too (just in case).
NO MORE EXCUSES!!

Re: Humber College Classic
I only said this was better then Carr because the field of teams all felt equal because there was alot of exciting and close games like Peel Fan had stated .. Carr last year was fun to watch seeing Rob G. put up a fantastic performance but this year wasnt that exciting... not saying it wasn't a good tournament very well organized tournament and thanks to Coach Melnik for that but Humber Classic just had that excitment in every game while watching..
Vaughn was missing cy, cj, and two other starters with injuries
Cy played on Friday and CJ got injuried against Campion so what other starters were they missing. If they were so good they would ball regardless, Campion worked them and St. Mikes slapped them!
