Watching Matthew wright play a few times...he's a good, fundamental player, a good team player, but, not great by any stretch of the imagination. I think his teamate Justin is a better player.

generally it is stevan manojlovic who carries up the ball but occasionally wright will

no disrespect to Justin Baketka but I keep hearing all this hype about him .
I've watched him a couple of games esepcaill in the Mark Walton tourny. He didn't seem like he was a top 5 player in the GTA. No smack on him he's a great player but not top 5 in my opinion. Especially for the Sg posistion which such great talent. Jordan Clennon Matthew wright, Adam Presutti, mamado mutombo and Raheem Issiac can all fill that spot better then he can.

... Wow thats the dumbest thing i'v ever heard in my life.. You're not going to put a kid who has the talent and skill to play D1 and probably will go D1 next year on your 1st or 2nd list... And then you have all these other players who will probably play CIS or just nothing at all next year..

I don't think what I wrote was dumb at all. You love Martingrove and Matthew Wright! That is your opinion. I respectfully disagree with you...plain and simple...that's all! I don't think that Matthew Wright is a great player. I don't think that they are any great, outstanding players this year.... a lot of good players, but not great ones like in years past. Back to your comments so for starters you believe that Stefan Nastic is going absolutley no where, Manny Sahota is going nowhere? Kevin Pangos has no future? Julian Clarke, Daniel Mullings and Anthony Ottley..no they can't play at all....no future prospects at all.....LOL.

Hey you love Matthew Wright and Martingrove and that's good on you! However, I've watched them play a few times this year and I don't see what you see. For your information, what position does Matthew play? On my list he's not a center, power forward, point guard so he can't make my first or second team in those positions. Now, is Matthew a shooting guard or small forward? I don't know you tell me! I've watched him play a few times and I like these small forwards and shooting guards better.

P.S. Are you knocking CIS Ball? Maybe your boy might end up there.

Kevin Pangos is one of the top guards in Canada my friend so either you don't know anything about basketball or you have a little man crush on Mr. Wright (I'll let you pick which one )

Did you just read the posting on the Rimrocker? Xavier Rimrocker, one of the most respected people on this site, mentioned that at the D'youville/Thornhill game were a couple of NCAA coaches from Georgetown (John Thompson Jr.), Marquette, Northwestern, and Cal-Berkeley all in attendance to see Stefan Nastic play. They definitely weren't at Eastern Comerce Holiday tournament to see Martingrove n Henry Carr. However, Laurentian, University of Toronto, Humber College and Ryerson were.

ouch ... however very reliable sources have told me matthew wright has a couple divison 1 offers...
