Does anyone know what this Live GameStreaming is all about, I don't OFSAA has done that in the past. Do you guys think that it is going to be good quality to watch on the internet? Also, how will they decide which game to show for the games that are being played at the same time?

Also, are all the Gyms (1,3,5) that games are being played at right beside each other, so fans can move around from game to game and see what is happening?

Lastly, is there a fee to watch games or are they free?

The games are played right beside each other in the Durham College and University of Ontario Institute Technology gymnasiums. They are literally a couple of seconds apart. The games are definitely not free.....lol

Why so? They beat Pickering in an exhibition game, J Clarke, Eastern and eliminating Henry Carr from the tournament. I don't see anything wrong with them being #2...

I've seen plenty of game action with the non-gta teams...the rankings are correct. They don't warrant a higher placement this year.

I agree! I've only seen Beal myself and I have great respect for their program but the rankings are fair imo.

I wasn't questioning the rankings just pointing this fact out! I do not recall this happening in the past.

Seems a little odd even with the prep school exodus from the GTA. But I have not seen the out-of-town teams doing a lot in tournament play this season!

I would agree non-gta don't warrant a higher placement this year.....but remember that many good basketball schools throughout the province are not AAAA and will never be. I believe this trend will continue for years to come for several obvious reasons. Quality players from AA and AAA are migrating to AAAA schools for their personal reasons. This depletes the ranks and forces them(AA & AAA) to compete at their designation where there is a reasonable chance for success.. Good examples of good programs that I am familiar with that are not AAAA are Loyola (Oakville), Dundas Parkside, STA(Oakville), and ACMT(Hamilton) just to name a few.

As per Michael Kennelly, the tournament pass( all three days) is $20, a day pass is $10.

Yes, .... but it appears to be easier to accumulate a critical mass of excellent players in small schools in the Toronto area than the outside regions....not passing judgement just an observation. Although these schools are AA by population they have a greater population of quality players to choose from.
In essence, it is very difficult to get 10 excellent players in a smaller school in the burbs that in a metro area. Not trying to create controversey just stating the obvious.

Agreed your points are well taken! I find no controversy in what you say.

Its not about how many students you have its about how many players you have.

Loyola would be ranked 2nd if they were in AAAA based on there results with teams in AAAA. your right tho, not a good representation of teams outside the gta in the top 10. look for notre dame wellend and bluevale to pull off some nice upsets. also st thomas more beat pickering at the heinbuch so pickering has their work cut out for them first game!

J Clarke and Oakwood would meet in the quarterfinals so they cannot both be in the Final Four.

Don't sleep on St Thomas More, they've beaten some of the GTA's best this year.

Pickering better win that first game (without MiKyle too!)
Otherwise they might see Oakwood, J. Clarke and MT before they even reach the final...

You're alright by me! Somebody has to add a little flavour...or lil flava to the board discussions. It's a challenge for the older people to interpret, but, it will keep them mentally sharp. Whatever happened to Coach Wheeler and my all time favourite Hooptownpopo and some of the other unique characters on the board?

Back to the main subject....no one is commenting on the draw itself or making predictions on the final four or eventual winner....interesting!
