Congrats to Vaughan SS

With all the talk about shady characters and bad webstream quality, it seems Congratulations have not been extended to Vaughan SS on their repeat win. Quality program with great character people from the coaches, players and everyone who has worked with this team along the way.

Coach G and the team have done this for years with players who have been to four and five OFSAAs in their careers. Great work Vaughan!

Yes congradulations / never seem to hear anything negative from their program unlike some other dominant programs.I've seen this team play over the years @ tournaments and there always a pleasure to watch win or lose always good sports.Good luck next year,can't say I want you to threepeat as I'm a strong supporter of the Durham region.

Your team definitely put on an awesome display of team basketball at the OFSAA AAAA championships in Ottawa. As I'm watching March Madness and listening to the commentators such as Steve Lavin, Greg Anthony and company, I could not help but think about your 2012 basketball team. The panel talked about teams with depth, coaches that instill confidence and trust their players and things of that nature. I've watched you coach over the years and that is one of the things that separates your program from other schools. You play alot of guys! You give them opportunities...allow them to play through their mistakes and suffer some short term pains for long term gains. I respect and admire that! I haven't learned how to do that quite yet! LOL

Coach G, would you consider coaching at the collegiate level?

Thank you for your kind words. It is difficult to play everyone all the time. You can argue that every kid at the high school level needs more minutes. It is a challenge indeed.
