AAAA OFSAA RESULTS

All previous teams both won Quad A? Or both teams just won an OFSAA in the same year?

Eastern wins Gold again after a short time away. I think that team might take the season as a failure if they dont make it to the OFSAA finals every year.

McGregor won at AA and the other two at A. These all took place when AAA was the largest level.

That was not a fair assessment. Actually Eastern geared its entire game plan to holding Mo down.

They played Box-and-one, 2-3 zone (collapsing around Mo), he was doubled and tripled everytime he got a touch.

His impact on the game was huge, because the entire focus of Eastern's defence was on stopping Mo!

Mo is a team player and he is very unselfish when he's doubled he can make great passes out of the post.

He may not have scored a lot but he had a huge influence on how the game was played.

Coach Clement, I am a fan of Big Mo and his game. My comment about his lack of offense in the finals was strictly referring to what I could gather from limited info on the web. It appeared that he scored less than 10 pts in the final & I assumed that Eastern game planned their defence to stop him. By your account, Mo contributed in other ways offensively. Good on him, I expected no less. Congrats to MT & big Mo on a great season. Congrats to Eastern for winning the marathon.

No problem, I'm a little defensive when it comes to Mo. I remember him as a 9 yr. old and he has always been a special talent even way back then.

He has worked hard on his conditioning and he is a wonderful kid. I think he is a special player with the skill set he has to go along with his huge physical stature.

Its still a little up-in-the-air!

He is very young and may attend prep school for a year. There is plenty of interest from U.S. colleges.

With another year to work on his game he may be a fit for a Major D-1 school.

He will not be returning to MT.
