First Round Scores:

St. Davids from KW beat Loyola 72-62.

St. Matt's beat St. Joseph 62-38.

Vaughan beat Kingston 78-45.

#3 Loyola and #5 Orchard Park lost their first round match-ups

Emery, Martingrove and Vaughan all won.

Gauthier from Herman is one to look out for...he's an amazing player.

Vaughan up 37-29 at half.
Martingrove up 35-27 at half

Vaughan squeaked it out! 55-54.

Tough game against the home team on the home court.

Maybe Collins is auditioning while he's in Ottawa?

GTA is well represented at AAA OFSAA with 3 GTA teams in the final four : Vaughan, Martingrove and Emery.

Its going to be Emery vs. Vaughan and St. Matts(Ottawa) vs. Martingrove in the two semi-finals

Wow, that atmosphere must have been nuts playing at Borden. I thought Josh would be going to Humber myself. I know his father is an assistant coach there. Ajay sharma is as well, there is a great connection between Humber and Vaughan. Main reason Vaughan plays the there tournament every year.

I have been amazed at the grit, heart and passion shown by Emery. No matter what happens the rest of the way, they must be commended for accomplishing what they have with 6 players. Great job by Coach Maydo, his assistants and the six players who have maintained the discipline and skill to get this far.
This is something that should be a true example to everybody. Great job!

Emery vs St.matts finals wowo 6 man squad is makin a statement

Nothing new for Maydo. Where ever he goes he wins. He won OFFSA at Bathurst with only 6 players no? I think Denham and Andre Carpenter were on that team.

I think the Cinderella run ends tonight. St. Matthew is simply much better than any other team in this tournament.

They have a good team but there not MUCH better then any other team. Martingrove lead through the whole game until the 4th when they got hot and hit a lot of three pointers. Coach Maydo has a good chance of winning of all his players play like they did in the AAA TDSSAA finals against Martingrove.

Emery ci was always the underdog from the begining of the tourney well now theyre playing st mats yeah hope they win

Maydo's Ofsaa experience and the fact that St. Matt's usually only plays 6 players (the others just sit) makes this a very intriguing match up. St. Matt's is the favoue, but Emery can definately pull this off.
