they doin good bro, they won AA City Championship yesterday (back to back champ). losing key guys and yet still performin showed the really talent we have. hard work has paid of and now they gettin ready for OFSAA!

Fidel left during Christmas. Nikoy couldnt play playoffs because of transfer rules i believe. So, the boys played short handed but pulled it through. Tyrell Ferguson had a huge final game scoring 31 points. All manz stepped up!

Thats good for harvey and congrats to them for their back-to-back championships

carr is out, so they shouldn't be in the rankings...... loyola would be AAA not AAAA.

Interesting to see that, in a season where so much GTA talent was lost to prep schools, no non-GTA teams stepped up to challenge for the top seeds at AAAA OFSAA.

With Pickering's win over J. Clarke and Eastern's win over Oakwood, I suspect the seeding will be something like this:

1. Pickering
2. Eastern
3. Mother Teresa (if they beat Pope)

2 and 3 could flip.

4. J. Clarke
5. Oakwood
6. D'Youville (if they beat Campion)

4-6 are all pretty close.

7. Vaughan
8. Campion (if they lose to D'Youville)

Flip Campion and Vaughan and move them both ahead of D'Youvilel if Campion wins.

9. St. Mike's
10. St. Thomas More

9 and 10 could flip.

11. Notre Dame (Welland)

Might go higher based on last year's final four appearance. After this, everything is pure guessing, except for # 18.

13. Pope John Paul II

Will shoot up if they beat MT.

Lost 4 of top 6 from last year's AAA championship team.

Looks like one of the more competitive fields for AAAA in a while. In the past, it seemed that no more than four teams really had a shot and this year, it looks like at least the top eight from Peel Fan's list have a legit shot and the next 5 or so could compete with any of them but are on a level perhaps just slightly below the top eight. I would say you could almost put the top five in any order and make a good argument for doing so.

More than likely Pickering will be the number one seed going into OFSAA since Henry Carr has been eliminated and because Pickering beat J Clarke. However, I want to point out that J Clarke has not officially qualified for OFSAA. They lost the LOSSA Final to Pickering and have to play their cross school rival Notre Dame (Ajax) tomorrow at 2pm. If they win that play-in game, then you can rank them. It is going to be a battle for sure. Notre Dame forced Pickering into overtime in the LOSSA semi-final. I've been told by a few people that Notre Dame missed an easy lay-up at the buzzer that would have won them the game in regulation time. Notre Dame is a good team that is peaking just at the right time and should not be taken lightly..a lucky bounce and they would have pulled off the biggest upset of the year and sent Pickering packing in the semi-finals of LOSSA.

Last year, J Clarke was in the same position. They lost to Pickering in the LOSSA Final and then faced Notre Dame in the play-in game the next day and lost that game as well by 30 points. J Clarke faces the same scenario as last year...beat Notre Dame and they get the second spot out of Durham. J Clarke is a much better than last year, but, Notre Dame is no walk over for sure.
