Update on some CIA Bounce Players... Empty Update on some CIA Bounce Players...

I saw someone asking about Kofi Mensa and found this:
Class of 2010

Kofi Mensa
Turning many heads has been 6’4 guard Kofi Mensa. This very athletic junior-to-be guard attending Mountain State Academy has had big games against famed schools Oak Hill and the Patterson School and has caught the attention of many schools (Ole Miss, Marshall, West Virginia, Wake Forest, Boston U., Baylor, Akron, St. Bonventure, Cornel, Wisconsin-Green Bay, Oakland, Nebraska and Saint Joseph’s).

Mensa attended the All-Canada Basketball Camp where he was named a top 20 athlete. Playing in the 16U division with the talent filled CIA Bounce Canada team; his athleticism and natural scoring ability were evident throughout this year making him very desirable to coaches recruiting for the class of 2010.

Melvin Ejim
Arguably one of the most underrated forwards for the 2010 class is Melvin Ejim. At an athletic 6’6 and playing the wing with his talent laden AAU club (CIA Bounce Canada), his ability to play and cover multiple positions, run/finish on the break and knock down shots with great range demonstrates the amount of potential he has as he’s receiving interest from several schools (Xavier, Baylor, Wake Forest, New Mexico, Virginia Tech, Michigan, Oakland, Wisconsin-Green Bay, Cornel, St. Bonaventure, Tulsa and Maryland). An All-Canada Basketball Camp top 20 selection and former Provincial Team member in 2007, Ejim demonstrates an excellent work ethic, commitment and drive that is motivating.

Transferring from St. Mary’s Ryken (DC) to attend Brewster Academy this fall for his junior season will add great depth and versatility to this nationally ranked squad.

Stephen Alli
CIA Bounce Canada forward Stephen Alli is the definition of a freak athlete. This 6’8, 2010 product is a machine in the paint blocking shots, rebounding, and dunking. Having played football as a wideout and a track & field star, Alli runs the floor very well and dunks in traffic with regularity. Stephen is even gaining interest from many D1 Football schools including Boston College. Possessing loads of speed, with Olympic qualifying times Stephen also has a good mid-range game and an improving post-up game, Stephen causes fits for many defenders.
A top 20 selection of the All-Canada Basketball Camp, his athleticism and potential has become attractive to many as he will attend Proctor Academy this fall with some schools (Kentucky, St. Bonaventure, Baylor, Cornel, Wisconsin-Green Bay, Oakland and New Mexico) tracking his progress.

Taevaunn Prince
2010 grad Taevaunn Prince is as versatile a guard as they come. With the ability to post up inside, creatively handle the ball and penetrate from out on the perimeter; his craftiness and skill level is reminiscent of ex-Kentucky star Antoine Walker and Marquette-committed Junior Cadougan. Recognized at the 2008 All-Canada Basketball Camp as one of the assist leaders and a top 20 selection, combined with a busy summer with his AAU club (CIA Bounce Canada), Prince has been attracting attention from a number of schools (Wisconsin-Green Bay, Baylor, Virginia Tech and St. Bonaventure).

Possessing a strong body with great footwork at 6’3, Prince is a slippery guard who is fearless against contact at the basket with ability to finish and create for others. With a solid perimeter game and now playing at Proctor Academy after transferring from St. Mary’s Ryken (DC), Prince is someone to watch out for in the class of 2010 as he will play with AAU teammates Stephen Alli, Pat Donnelly and Rohan (RJ) Stephens.
